An ectopic meningioma in nasal floor

Observation:

• A 16-year-old male presented with a nasal floor mass initially suspected as a sebaceous cyst.
• Computed tomography revealed a neoplastic lesion in the nasal floor region.

Findings:

• Histological examination showed spindle cells, with immunohistochemical staining positive for epithelial membrane antigen and vimentin.
• Diagnosis was confirmed as extracranial ectopic meningioma.

Implications:

• Ectopic meningioma should be included in the differential diagnosis for head and neck masses, particularly those with spindle cell morphology.
• Prompt surgical resection and reconstruction led to a full recovery within one week.
