Croatian Medical Association Branch Nova Gradiska acts on the western part of Brod-Posavina County aiming to gather all physicians, dentists and other medical professionals, primarily for education in the practice of medicine, also in free-time activities. The Branch was founded in 1956, since then it has acted continually. Many physicians from the area of the Branch hve acted in the Croatian Medical Association from its founding, even before founding the Branch in Nova Gradiska. Jakov Dedoevic, MD was the first president and founder of Nova Gradiska's Branch. Slavica Konjevic Pernar, MD, is current the president. The Branch has around 100 members.
