Summary

Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) shows promise for identifying ureters and arteries during colorectal surgery. Both silicon (Si) and indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) sensors accurately detect ureters, while Si sensors show higher accuracy for arteries.
