The distally based, venous supercharged anterolateral thigh flap

Venous supercharging using the great saphenous vein can prevent venous congestion in large, distally-based anterolateral thigh flaps. This technique significantly reduces partial flap loss, improving outcomes for complex leg and knee reconstructions.
