The relationship between pulp calcifications and salivary gland calcifications

This study found no significant link between dental pulp stones and salivary gland stones, despite both being calcifications. While salivary gland stones can be incidentally detected on dental radiographs, they do not correlate with pulp stones.

- Early detection of salivary gland stones is possible through routine dental imaging.
