Rous Sarcoma virus or RSV was discovered by F. Peyton Rous in the year 1911 as a filterable transmissible agent that could cause tumors in chickens. He won a Nobel Prize for this discovery in 1966. Background:

Primitive neuroectodermal tumors (PNETs) and Ewing sarcoma (EWS) are rare malignant small round cell neoplasms.
Pulmonary involvement of EWS-PNETs in adults is exceptionally uncommon.
These tumors typically originate in soft tissue or bone.

Purpose of the Study:

To present a rare case of adult pulmonary Ewing sarcoma-PNETs.
To highlight diagnostic challenges and clinical presentation of this rare entity.

Main Methods:

Case report of a 32-year-old male.
Clinical presentation including chest pain and diffuse pulmonary nodules on chest X-ray.
Diagnosis of Ewing sarcoma-PNETs.

Main Results:

The patient presented with symptoms suggestive of pulmonary disease.
Imaging revealed diffuse pulmonary nodules.
Histopathological diagnosis confirmed Ewing sarcoma-PNETs.

Conclusions:

Pulmonary EWS-PNETs, though rare in adults, should be considered in the differential diagnosis of diffuse pulmonary nodules.
This case underscores the importance of comprehensive diagnostic evaluation for rare thoracic malignancies.
