Summary

Single-photon-emission computed tomography combined with computed tomography (SPECT-CT) effectively identifies loosening in painful total ankle replacements (TARs). This imaging method reveals talar prosthesis nonintegration, often missed by conventional radiology, aiding in diagnosing unexplained ankle pain.
