Abstract:
Author describes the diagnostics and the classification of the types of the dislocated calcaneal fractures. A closed reduction of these fractures with a special apparatus and fixation with percutaneous screws in performed. No postoperative external fixation is used, early active motion therapy is introduced and early weight bearing is permitted. The results, that are better than in the previous methods of treatment, are presented in 225, similarly treated and controlled cases.
