[Differentiation of the type of EHF antibodies by RPHI]

This article reports the use of for differentiation of the type of EHF antibodies. A total of 58 convalescent-phase sera from EHF patients in natural foci of predominant Apodemus type of EHF and in those of Rattus type of EFH were examined. In the former 34/36 (94.44%) belonged to Apodemus type, and in the latter 22/22 (100%) belonged to Rattus type. Both RPHI and HI obtained the same result in differentiation of the type of EHF antibodies. RPHI possesses sensitivity and specificity in EHF diagnosis, and may be used for differentiation of the type of EHF antibodies.
