Observer performance for adaptive, image-based denoising and filtered back projection compared to scanner-based

Low-dose CT enterography (LD-CTE) using adaptive noise reduction (ANLM) or filtered back projection (FBP) showed non-inferior observer performance for detecting intestinal inflammation compared to iterative reconstruction (IR). ANLM also improved image quality over FBP.
