Summary

Targeted lung denervation (TLD) is a new bronchoscopic therapy that ablates parasympathetic pulmonary nerves to improve COPD symptoms. This study found TLD to be feasible, safe, and well-tolerated, warranting further investigation.

  • Bronchoscopic TLD is a feasible, safe, and well-tolerated procedure for COPD.
  • The findings support further investigation into TLD as a potential novel therapy for COPD.
