Summary

Primary liposarcomas of the kidney are rare malignant tumors. This study highlights two cases of retroperitoneal myxoid liposarcoma, emphasizing surgical resection as the primary treatment due to controversial adjuvant therapies.

Liposarcomas are rare malignant neoplasms originating from adipose tissue, accounting for less than 1% of all malignant tumors.

Primary liposarcomas of the kidney are exceptionally rare clinical entities.

Retroperitoneal perirenal myxoid liposarcoma presents as a large tumor mass with potential compression of adjacent organs and major blood vessels.
