Abstract:
Navy nurses are challenged to maintain trauma competency between deployment settings. The Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) course provides trauma nurse training to Navy nurses. Presenting ATCN in a nontraditional environment aboard a Naval vessel during a training exercise provided a rewarding teaching and learning experience.
