Memory fMRI predicts verbal memory decline after anterior temporal lobe resection

This study introduces a functional MRI (fMRI) method to predict memory loss after epilepsy surgery. The fMRI lateralization index accurately forecasts verbal memory decline in patients undergoing dominant hemisphere surgery.
