Background:

Tertiary hyperparathyroidism (3HPT) involves persistent hyperparathyroidism and hypercalcemia post-renal transplant.
Evaluating radioguided parathyroidectomy (RGP) is crucial for managing 3HPT.

Purpose of the Study:

To assess the efficacy of radioguided parathyroidectomy (RGP) in treating tertiary hyperparathyroidism (3HPT).

A prospective database of 80 patients with 3HPT undergoing RGP from 2001-2014 was reviewed.
Data included patient demographics, surgical management, gamma probe utilization, and outcomes.
