[The persistent trigeminal artery as evidenced by multislice spiral computed tomographic angiography]
The persistent trigeminal artery (PTA) occurs in 0.58% of patients. While often associated with hypoplasia of other cerebral arteries, this study found no convincing link between PTA and cerebral aneurysms.
