COMT and MAO-A polymorphisms and obsessive-compulsive disorder: a family-based association study

This study found no association between catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) and monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A) gene variants and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Further research into broader phenotypes is needed to understand genetic contributions to OCD.
