Trabectedin in combination with doxorubicin for first-line treatment of advanced uterine or soft-tissue

- Common grade 3-4 adverse events included neutropenia (78%), elevated ALT (39%), and thrombocytopenia (37%).

- Doxorubicin plus trabectedin demonstrates significant activity as a first-line treatment for uterine and soft-tissue leiomyosarcoma.
- The combination therapy shows manageable toxicity, supporting its further development.
- A phase 3 trial comparing this regimen to the current standard of care is warranted.
