Pediatric atrophic rhinosinusitis: what can we do?

Chronic foul-smelling nasal discharge in a child was diagnosed as atrophic rhinosinusitis caused by Klebsiella ozaenae. Long-term antibiotic prophylaxis with sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim led to complete clinical improvement.
