Dose-intensive chemotherapy and avoiding whole brain radiotherapy improve outcomes for primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) patients. Newer immunochemotherapy regimens show promise for achieving long-term progression-free survival (PFS) in newly diagnosed aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL).
