Comparing methods for vaginal lactobacilli detection, this study found good concordance between culture, qPCR, and NGS for Lactobacillus crispatus, jensenii, and gasseri. However, Lactobacillus iners detection showed poor correlation across methods, highlighting the need for standardized techniques.
