Predicting and treating stress-induced vulnerability to epilepsy and depression

Stressful events can increase epilepsy risk and associated conditions. This study shows that low brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) predicts vulnerability to epilepsy and comorbidities, which can be reversed with BDNF treatment.
