Adults with sickle cell disease (SCD) have higher rates of nocturnal enuresis and overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms. These urinary issues may be an under-recognized complication of SCD, impacting quality of life.

- An OAB phenotype may be an under-recognized complication of SCD across all age groups.
