  • Enhanced computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen and pelvis was performed on 1639 kidneys from 845 patients.
  • Kidneys were evaluated for divided-shaped morphology and collecting system duplication (bifid, partial, complete).
  • Fisher exact test was used to analyze the relationship between divided-shaped kidneys and collecting system duplication.

Main Results:

  • The incidence of divided-shaped kidneys was 4% (66 out of 1639 kidneys).
