[The vitamin E concentration and lipid peroxidation status of patients with peptic ulcer undergoing laser therapy]

The authors established the necessity that during laser therapy of patients with ulcer disease this treatment should be associated with the use of cholinolytic agents and antioxidants of the alpha-tocopherol type. As the authors' data indicate in ulcer disease a deficit of vitamin E and an enhancement of lipid peroxidation is present.
