Background:

The Mondelēz Hope Kitchen Program, a 2009 initiative by Mondelēz International and the China Youth Development Foundation (CYDF), targets undernutrition and obesity in rural Chinese schools.
The program funds kitchen equipment and teacher training to improve students' access to nutritious meals and overall health.
A 2011 grant enabled a formal impact assessment, involving CYDF and global healthy lifestyles partners.
