Deborah Washington is the director of diversity for Patient Care Services at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, and a cochair of the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action Diversity Steering Committee. William T. Lecher is the senior clinical director of the Specialty Resource Unit at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, and the immediate past president of the American Assembly for Men in Nursing.
