Next-generation narrow band imaging system for colonic polyp detection: a prospective multicenter randomized trial

Next-generation narrow-band imaging (NBI) colonoscopy significantly improves colonic polyp detection compared to white-light imaging (WLI). Wide-angle (WA) colonoscopy did not enhance polyp detection rates in this study.

- Wide-angle colonoscopy did not demonstrate a significant improvement in polyp detection in this trial.
