Gastrointestinal basidiobolomycosis in a dog

This study reports the first canine case of intestinal basidiobolomycosis, a fungal infection caused by Basidiobolus ranarum. Diagnosis was confirmed via PCR in an 8-year-old Shiba dog with chronic diarrhea.
