Summary

This study evaluated the MODULUS conical stem hip implant in 143 patients with developmental dysplasia. The implant demonstrated excellent long-term clinical outcomes and high survivorship, indicating its effectiveness for hip replacement surgery.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the clinical and radiographic outcomes of the MODULUS conical stem hip implant in patients with developmental dysplasia.
  • To assess the long-term survivorship of the MODULUS stem.

  • A retrospective review of 143 patients (173 hips) who underwent hip arthroplasty with the MODULUS system between 2001 and 2010.
