[Improving the assessment of pain in elderly people unable to communicate]
Abstract:
An association grouping together the pain committees from several institutions carried out an assessment of professional practices in order to improve the screening and treatment of pain in elderly people unable to communicate. The study shows the benefit of a systematic assessment, with the aid of the Algoplus® scale, of all patients with communication disorders, and the need to improve the treatment of pain.
