A large primary retroperitoneal vaginal leiomyosarcoma: a case report

This case report details a rare vaginal leiomyosarcoma successfully resected via a novel posterior approach. The patient remained disease-free one year post-surgery, offering insights into surgical management of this uncommon tumor.

- Pathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of leiomyosarcoma.
- The patient received adjuvant chemotherapy and remained disease-free at one-year follow-up.
