Summary

The new swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) biometer prototype offers acceptable central retinal thickness (CRT) measurements for cataract surgery planning, though with lower resolution than spectral-domain OCT. Foveal pit morphology is discernible, aiding in patient examination.
