Identification of Immune-Relevant Factors Conferring Sarcoidosis Genetic Risk

This study identified four novel genetic loci and confirmed associations in the HLA region, significantly advancing our understanding of sarcoidosis (a complex inflammatory disease) genetic risk. These findings highlight the IL23/Th17 pathway and suggest shared genetic underpinnings with other immune-mediated disorders.
