Background:

Persistent Complex Bereavement Disorder (PCBD) requires precise measurement for research.
Existing measures may not fully capture the nuances of PCBD.

Purpose of the Study:

To introduce and validate the Persistent Complex Bereavement Inventory (PCBI).
To provide a tool for reliable and valid assessment of PCBD symptomatology.

Two studies were conducted to develop and validate the PCBI.
Factor analysis, reliability testing (internal consistency, test-retest), and correlational analyses were performed.
