Crohn's disease versus tuberculosis: case report

A patient with Crohn's disease, a rare condition outside temperate climate regions, is presented from Saudi Arabia. The difficulty in differentiating this condition, even with the help of advanced diagnostic tools available, such as colonoscopy, from the much more common disease, tuberculosis, is highlighted in this report. A review of the differential diagnosis between the two conditions is discussed.
