Low tube potential CT imaging increases noise, but iterative reconstruction, specifically adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction (ASiR), effectively reduces this noise. An ASiR level of around 50% at 100 kVp matches the noise levels of 120 kVp imaging without ASiR.
