Absorption kinetics of cyclosporine in healthy volunteers

The absorption kinetics of cyclosporine were studied in eight healthy volunteers following oral and intravenous administration. Bioavailability of cyclosporine was observed to be 20.8 +/- 5.5 per cent. Absorption of cyclosporine was found to be better described by first order processes rather than by a zero order process as previously reported.
