Abstract:
Three patients, aged 60, 70, and 82 years, developed symptoms of parkinsonism after treatment with 60 mg or 120 mg of indeloxazine hydrochloride daily. The symptoms disappeared when the indeloxazine was withdrawn and recurred in one patient when treatment with indeloxazine was reinstated. It is postulated that the symptoms might have occurred as a result of an imbalance in brain norepinephrine, dopamine, and acetylcholine levels induced by the indeloxazine.
