Summary

(18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography (PET) scanning shows significant overlap in uptake patterns between infected and uninfected vascular grafts. This overlap challenges the effectiveness of current FDG-PET-CT parameters for accurately diagnosing graft infections.
