[Diagnosis and treatment of chronic spinal arachnoiditis]

Altogether 61 patients with chronic spinal arachnoiditis underwent clinical and laboratory studies for deranged functions of the nervous system. The main neurologic syndromes, the results of examining cerebrospinal fluid and spondylo- and myelography data are given. At the first stage the treatment should be conservative. Surgical intervention is indicated when symptoms of compression increase.
