Probiotics and growth in preterm infants: A randomized controlled trial, PREMAPRO study

Probiotic supplementation with Bifidobacterium in preterm infants did not improve postnatal growth or body composition. The administration of probiotics was found to be safe, with no adverse effects observed in the study population.
