Returning an Employee With Newly Diagnosed Tetraplegia to Work

A 41-year-old male manufacturing engineer had a spinal cord injury after being thrown from the horse he was riding and landing on his neck. His injury was a C5 fracture with complete lower limb and trunk paralysis and partial upper limb paralysis. He was transported to the emergency department and eventually to rehabilitation.
