Abstract:
A 41-year-old male manufacturing engineer had a spinal cord injury after being thrown from the horse he was riding and landing on his neck. His injury was a C5 fracture with complete lower limb and trunk paralysis and partial upper limb paralysis. He was transported to the emergency department and eventually to rehabilitation. This article describes this employee's return to work.
