Modification of midtarsal osteotomy

The author discusses midtarsal osteotomy and its use in cavus foot correction. The literature is reviewed, with a chronology of thought on the subject. A modification of the classic procedure is presented with a case presentation and long-term follow-up. Advantages of the modified procedure are presented.
