Antibiotic therapy in fully impacted lower third molar surgery: randomized three-arm, double-blind, controlled trial

For healthy patients undergoing impacted lower third molar extraction, prophylactic antibiotics showed no benefit. Standard aseptic techniques are sufficient, negating the need for routine antibiotic use in these procedures.
