Abstract:
Between the years 1975 to 1986 797 coxal fractures were treated in the Department of Traumatology of the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. M. 130 bone lesions were classified as unstable trochanteric fractures and 62 were stabilized by means of the valgisation osteosynthesis. A good result can be achieved in case of a correct indication and proper technique.
