[Bilateral laryngeal paralysis in adduction: therapeutic aspects]
Acta Otorrinolaringologica Espanola
|December 1, 1989
Abstract:
Fourteen patients with bilateral laryngeal paralysis in adduction were studied. Six of these patients were treated by arytenoidopexy and chordopexy, and the other 8 underwent endoscopic CO2 laser endoscopy. After comparison of the two groups we concluded that the latter technique yielded better respiratory and phonatory results than others previously used.
