Altered retinal flicker response indicates microvascular dysfunction in women with preeclampsia

Retinal microvascular dysfunction, indicated by reduced arteriolar amplitude, is present in women with preeclampsia during pregnancy and postpartum. Flicker-induced dilatation remained unchanged, suggesting preserved autoregulation despite this dysfunction.
