Can an Immediate 2-stage Breast Reconstruction Be Performed After Previous Conservative Surgery and Radiotherapy?

This study shows that immediate two-stage prosthetic breast reconstruction is a viable option for selected patients after salvage mastectomy, even following previous conservative surgery and radiotherapy (CS + RT). Reconstruction success was achieved without implant failure in this patient group.
