Tandem gait performance in essential tremor patients correlates with cognitive function.

Essential tremor (ET) patients with more cognitive difficulties also exhibit greater tandem gait impairment. These findings suggest a potential link between cognitive and motor deficits in ET, possibly due to a pervasive underlying disorder.
